I met up with
glerf at Baskin Robbins this afternoon, which was rather nice. I drove by myself for the first time which was surrealistically wonderful. And I could sing along with Simon and Garfunkel without being mocked by my mother. I did a lovely bit of backing up maneuvering out of the Pleasantview downtown gas station. Oh, and I got my mother something for Christmas, a beautiful embroidered notebook. At least I have one thing so far-I'll get something else on Tuesday.
Got PSAT scores back, too, which weren't too bad. Must do lots of SAT II Math IIC review over break though-eww. I might get Thea and
glerf's math tutor. Oh, and I'm also helping out with website for the FIRST robotics team. Free time is what you get when you die, right? :P
And now, some quotations somewhat randomly stolen from Ian Fleming:
“Most people are unconscious up to 17, dreaming until 25, awake to 39, mad after 40, dead after 60.”
“Pain is a private address. Only those who have been that way before know the unlisted number.”
