I was being rather pessimistic earlier; things aren't as gloomy as I make them sound. Forty minutes after eleven...and I finally managed to find a free existing copy of "Eleanor Rigby." It took me a fair amount of time (then again, compared to how long it takes me on average to get my favorite soundtracks, six months seems like eternity in comparison) to find it, but definitely it was worth it.

I visited Sophia for about an hour and talked to her on the phone for about fifteen minutes, and that really helped a lot. It's nice to be able to talk to someone who is on the same wavelength and has an understanding of who I am as a person. That definitely brightened my day.

I also forgot to mention that I had tea and leftover scones with Julie during break. Quite nice of her really, but now I owe Kerstin a tea bag. And bell choir was great today, except that Rachel had to leave halfway, and I ended up taking over her part before I made Julie take over Rachel's one chime because I'm incapable of playing three chimes at once. Thankfully today I was able to actually eat a dry, un-spilled-on-the-floor lunch.

Watched the remake of The Stepford Wives tonight, but now I'm really interested in seeing what the original's like. All I know is that the original was directed by Bryan Forbes, who was the one who kickstarted my all time favorite film composer, John Barry's, career. It was one of those one-time movies that you watch and can be amused by, but the jokes are rather stale, and the attempt at making some kind of vaguely satirical comment about gender roles and society felt rather trite. Tries but fails to make a real statement, and the acting is all very hyperbolic. Even Christopher Walken was disappointing, but I did rather like Roger Bart and Bette Milder. Unfortunately I kept expecting Roger Bart to start singing, "Springtime for Hitler" the entire time.

The Ultimate Frisbee Club really needs to stop targeting me. This is their fourth year in trying to get me to actually play more than once or twice a year. Ha.
