"Love, in a world where carpenters get resurrected? Anything can happen."
-Katharine Hepburn as Queen Eleanor of Acquitaine in The Lion in Winter
Eeep! Dad copied the The Lion in Winter DVD for me. Kerstin and I should have a TLIW watching fest in the War Office/Box/newspaper office sometime. And I'd really love to borrow her screen play book form of the script again to copy down some more quotations.
And because I'm in a random mood, I'll have two more Queen Eleanor quotations:
"What would you want me to do? Give up, give out, or give in?"
"Just a little peace? Why so modest? Why not eternal peace?"
I had this really strange dream a few nights ago that Casti was going to have a performance of TLIW and a bunch of people, Tess, Molly, Ingrid, Julia, Sophia, and me as well, were there with Mr. Capron on the stage trying to plan stuff out. For some reason we were going to do it for spring musical, and so we were trying to figure out how to turn it into a musical. It ended up being something freaky like the intro to arts operas. Quite funny, actually. I remember auditioning for the part of Alais Capet and I think I was going to get it, but I don't remember for sure. I think I've been having some strange dreams lately because I was on some painkillers for my wisdom tooth surgery. It's such a great time to have a dental surgeon rip out 4 bones from your oral cavity on Christmas Eve. Ugh. Because I have puny veins the surgeon had to poke both arms several times. Not fun. And the ceiling was leaking, too. It was rather amusing to watch the nurses try to find a ladder to tape a plastic bag over it. Still it wasn't too bad, as I got to eat some nice soft foods and didn't have to do much for several days and could play an insane amount of Sims. I'm slowly getting un-addicted to Makin' Magic. Hee hee.
