attack of the singing zombies
May. 22nd, 2003 03:26 pmHonors choir has a concert next Tuesday. I completely forgot about that. Why Tuesday of all days. I need to work on my C&C movie project on Thursday. I haven't even started writing the darned paper yet, not even an outline. Wait a minute, I do have an outline. Thank goodness. I'm not nearly as sunk now. I'll just do it over this weekend, Memorial Weekend. Oh, bah. I don't want to write it on Saturdsy. That's my birthday. No, not Saturday.
Dad's threatening to wake me up at 7:30 Saturday morning if he finds the kitchen timer in my room. Why the heck would the kitchen timer be in my room anyway? We have 2, so there's still another one. I hope it's not in my room. I don't think it's there. I've looked around, even under my pillow, and haven't found it yet. Neither has he. I hope he doesn't find it in my room. It's cruel to be woken up at 7:30 on your birthday, especially when you're sleep deprived and even kindly people point out the dark circles under your eyes and tell you vaguely that you kind of look like hell. I'm not sure if I should take this as a compliment or not.
Oh, and how the hell did I get into honors chorus? I can sing pretty decentlyin my range, but I have problems singing loudly. Pat said that Sophia and I sounded pretty good practicing our final song for next Thurs. Vera said we sounded like robots. For once she didn't criticize our singing ability, which is a good first step. Yay. Too bad Sarah wasn't here today; we could've practiced with her.
