WHAT?!?!?!?!?!
May. 19th, 2003 09:57 amSince when did I have a final in chorus?
I just found out literally maybe half an hour ago. Vera, the extremely evil piano player, was the only person there today. No Pat, no juniors, and only 3 altos, 3 sopranos, and 7 second sopranos. Oh, joy. Vera kept on picking on the alto section. I couldn't hear myself or Josie at all today, which was scary. Martina was probably louder than all of us combined, which is even more frightening as Martina's usually pretty quiet. My chorus final is THIS Thursday and we're supposed to sing a song in chorus, and only one person per part. So I joined up with Sophia and Sarah and after trying without any success "Across the Wide Missouri" and "Durme," we tried "Jubliate Deo," which is possibly the simplest song you can get. We actually sound pretty decent. Hopefully Pat will let us do it. If she doesn't, then I'll try to convince the others to have us do "Adiemus" (which I already have talked about before, hehe).
Oh boy. I hope I don't undergo a nervous breakdown this week, because I think Sophia's starting to lose it. Joy.
