Here's what I've been up to today:

  • 14:50 Taking all the messages about the positivity bias I've been reading lately to heart. Age = less negativity in reminiscence. #
  • 22:21 I would marry Raul Eparza's Bobby a little! Company is the musical that seems to run in parallel with my life frighteningly well right now. #

How does one marry someone else "a little?" Okay, my pinky's yours, but my left arm is free to see other people?

It's one of those "you have to listen to the song" for it to make sense. Sondheim originally wrote this as the finale of Company, but it wasn't actually used in production until the revival. My favorite version is from the 2006 Broadway revival: Marry Me A Little (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzA97oMW2_M&feature=channel).
