end of a beginning

This is the last day of my freshman year.

And honestly, I have no idea what to say for the moment being, except that I still have some last minute packing for tomorrow's flight. Isn't it the case that just when you think you have everything planned, something better/more interesting comes along and forces you to reconsider everything? I guess that's the lesson of this year for me.

Oh man, welcome to my last week and a half. I had this...situation(feel free to ask though i won't talk about it now) that i had been focusing on for so long and finally gave up on - partially with the end classes coming up. But still, giving up was a close - it felt final, and satisfactory, in a way. And then, in the midst of finals, a few things have happened that have made me think over everything, and wonder if perhaps i shouldn't let go so soon...

Thanks, gandy. I do like being back home up north, but in a weird way I'm beginning to miss all of the kookiness that is LA. I really, really hope that the fire will burn out soon, but I can't believe that so much damage has already been done.

I pretty much have a mad girlcrush on Madeline/Judy. That moment was too beautiful not to feature here.
