My grandmother had a minor stroke yesterday, but my parents are already planning what to do for a future funeral. I want to believe that they're being overly pessimistic.

Movement has been feeling surprisingly heavy.

*hugs* Yeah, I'm starting to think about my Pop-pop's too. Alzheimer's has reduced him to a completely catatonic body. It's sad.

I'm sorry dearie. If it helps any, my grandmother had a stroke about five years ago in which all the siblings were called to say their last goodbyes. My grandmother is still *quite* alive. Hope all goes well ::hug::

I'm so sorry to hear that Lea. My grandmother had a stoke 10 years ago and she came through it--so I have my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks, Juliet. My grandmother had a bigger stroke a year ago when she was staying with my family, but luckily the reprecussions weren't too bad. She had another minor stroke about a week ago, so we're nervous about what might happen next. I really hope that these things will pass.
