It is rather fun to sink one's claws into a particularly stupid male chauvinist, especially if you've been stressed and grumpy. I think I'm starting to scare them all away from one of my favorite communities at this rate. I resisted the urge to get super screechy and rude, but it's hard when I see the words "evil feminist" next to each other in an unqualified example. No wonder my male friends are too scared to even bring up the subject of women's rights near me...

I find it rather ironic that I've been listening to a lot of Bernard Herrmann's scores for Alfred Hitchcock films in the meantime. Finally, I have the chance to start analyzing the development of Herrmann's various themes throughout the progression of his works with Hitchcock-his scoring of the "icy blonde" concept's rather intriguing. One of these days I'll actually see the entirety of North by Northwest instead of in isolated chunks.

Hey, fruittingles friend, here. What IS it with Americans and British accents? Silly people. Especially seeing as they don't tend to like the actual British that much.

My theory is that Americans are all closet Anglophiles; they are fascinated by the "old worlde" traditions and history of Britain since the American nation itself is about 230 odd years old. More Americans support the British royals than the British, probably because their tax dollars don't go to funding their lifestyles. Meanwhile, many Brits seem to think of Americans as dummy hicks. Folks abroad except for the Americans seem to prefer the Canadians to the Americans.

Americans think that their own accents are dull and stupid. Or maybe that's just me...

This guy is lucky that I don't know him in person, or else I'd probably go slap happy. Normally I'm a peaceful person, but outright sexism tends to bring out my violent side. Jeez, I haven't beaten up a guy since I was in 5th grade...maybe that's why I ended up at an all-girls school?
