(no subject)
Aug. 1st, 2003 06:20 pmI should be working on my essay on the definition of geeks. I have no clue why I bothered to pick that subject, only now I'm stuck with it. Ick. I got the intro paragraph done, and it's not very good. But whatever.
I swam earlier this morning, and afterwards I felt like weighing myself and I lost three pounds after a half hour. Freaky. A half hour with Luba is really punishing, though. I think I kind of gave myself a headache from bumping into the lane line. I always seem to do something like that whenever I swim backstroke. It's very annoying. I've whacked my wrist into the wall at the end several times just when I thought that I was safe. Ha. And of course all of the seniors who swim at the community pool are surrounding all of the ends and making me nervous as all hell. It's creepy when you reach the end of the pool and you look up and you see a pretty tall 60 year old guy staring at you in his Speedo. More like frightening, actually.
Been playing a freakish amount of Spider Solitaire today, probably for playing lots of Sims yesterday. Hee hee. It's way too addictive. Hopefully I am un-addicted by the time school starts.
