I am still alive, but mostly I have been spending a lot of time with my family and visiting friends I haven't seen for months. Actually, there's been a lot going on with the family. That, and I'm finally paying off my sleep debt. I've grown terribly lazy in getting around to correspondence, so yes, it is all my fault for the slow replies.

I swear I'll come up with a real update later. December's always been an ambivalent month for me; I'm either really squee-ing into the holiday spiritor am dodging the Great Frying Pan of Doom that periodically whacks me over the head. And now I'm going to avoid using a really bad transformed sine wave metaphor to describe fate and emotions and whatnot.

I have promised myself that I will come out to my parents about being asexual by the end of the week. Or maybe the end of the year. My mother and I had an interesting conversation about my having kids last night, but I was too nervous to bring up the asexual thing then. I guess that's my pre-New Year's resolution.
