Do I look like I know where I'm going?
May. 28th, 2005 04:55 pmSaturday is not the same as Sunday. It just goes to show you that I don't really pay attention to the date too much as I went up to the Fraz's for the CrWr class brunch this morning without realizing that it's tomorrow. Luckily he happened to be at home and ended up taking me out to lunch, but I still feel rather foolish. He was terribly nice about it, and we had a nice time talking. It looks like I won't be able to go tomorrow, though; Ellie's tremendously peeved and is ranting to my father right now.
I am currently trying to figure out how I managed to find my way to the Fraz's without getting mugged, especially when I look terribly unthreatening. It's not a bad neighborhood, but the area around the train station is a little sketchy. I saw a poster advertising a "masturbation-a-thon" among other things.
I am starting to overcome my dislike for trains; they are surprisingly efficient (well, on the way up to San Francisco it was only fifteen minutes late) and clean. I had a minor panic attack this morning because I couldn't find anyone else who was supposed to go up with me in any of the compartments. On the train ride up I assumed that I would find everyone at the station where we were supposed to get off, but I didn't. Being the clueless dolt that I am, I didn't bother to double check the date as the train pulled away from the station where I boarded; that would explain why
latina_business wasn't boarding with me. By the end of the trip I was tired enough to fall asleep on the ride back.
