I now have a cell phone with a New York City area code of all things. My father is being stubborn and refuses to let go of his old cell phones and our weirdo lousy cell phone coverage, so it's much cheaper for my Uncle Doug to add me to his family plan. As he lives in Staten Island, my cell phone number has the same area code as his.

And a random trivia fact for your amusement:
-In the Singaporean version of the film, [the Incredibles], the company "Insuricare" is translated into "Black hearted insurance company" in the Chinese subtitles if read literally.

The IMDB was extremely unhelpful in my ongoing "How much of The Incredibles was actually scored by John Barry?" project, so I'm still pretty much on my own here. The multitude of missing cues on the soundtrack make this all even more difficult, so sometime I'll probably buy the DVD and find some way to record the missing cues. The most annoying thing is that the soundtrack omits 2-3 second cues in the midst of certain tracks like "100 Mile Dash." Why couldn't these cues have been featured on the soundtrack? I'm not in the mood to do audio splicing as the audio editing program I have has a really lousy user interface, i.e. I'm too dumb and lazy to figure it all out.

On a different note: I need to figure out a better method of remembering birthdays. I've managed to miss three or four within this past week alone. If it's not in May or August, I'm guaranteed to forget it even if people remind me every day two weeks straight. Any tips for remembering these things???
