Please excuse me; I'm terribly happy
Mar. 16th, 2005 09:33 pmYay! I will be taking beginning journalism and behaviorism modification at Harvard this summer. No women and 50's American pop culture as that course is geared to grad students, so the class would probably fizzle out the remaining neurons in my brain.
In other words, Ellie is attempting to manipulate things so that my schedule lets me start the weekend after 12:30 PM on Thursday afternoons so I can take a train to New York on the 6th of July in order to attend my cousin Jason's wedding on the 7th in Long Island. I may or may not spend the 4th of July with family, possibly attending the Boston Pops concert. That would be super, but plans haven't really been cemented yet. And apparently there's going to be a SoCal trip earlier in June before I leave for Boston so I can look at colleges there as I don't come back to Pleasantview until two weeks before school starts up again. Ellie might have to go back to Hong Kong for some business stuff; it's all quite mysterious, and all I know is that it involves the grandmother.
I am starting to feel sorry for my future roommate, because I've been lucky enough so far to find roommates who can put up with me. I unfortunately inherited my dad's habit of hitting the alarm clock multiple times, though I happen to hit the alarm clock snooze button for up to two hours! I can't blame his roommates for kicking him out of their room freshman year, hee! and I really can't blame mine if she does the same to me. We're talking about someone who has to use an alarm clock on the weekends...
Thankfully the behaviorism modification seminar starts at 1 in the afternoon on Mondays so theoretically I can party on Sunday nights :P
