Ooh, who managed to finish all of her homework for today by break this morning? My new goal to get my work done more efficiently seems to be going pretty well so far. All I have to do is keep it up...
The Alias season 4 premiere-I have only seen the first hour and ten minutes of the 2 hour special because mum told me to go to bed. Argh! I must wait to see the rest of it tomorrow or on Friday, and now that my dad got TiVo for Christmas he's recording it so I don't have to watch it with commercials. How very nice of him :)
I don't feel like working on my bio lab. I only have the procedure done...ehehe. I don't think this is going to be a super-hard lab, but I really don't feel like analyzing the genetic inheritance of a bunch of stupid little creatures which I would gladly annhilate.
It's interesting, the little details you learn about people you think you know well or people who you don't know well but who intrigue you anyway. I'm discovering that I like my class more and more. One classmate who I've never known well and merely considered to be a mini-genius turned out to be a lot kinder than I had expected. I had never thought that she was mean or anything, I just don't see her humanitarian side at school. She was consoling a friend who hadn't done so well on the PSATs and promised to study with her for the SATs so that this friend could do better. It's nice to know that people do look out for each other. It's also nice to know that people you think had forgotten certain things still remember them or that people to whom you haven't spoken for a while still want to talk to you. I had a nice afternoon needless to say, and I wish I had more of them.
And now to indulge a bit in some mindless meme-sheepness. Thanks,
lastgiraffe. I try not to do these things too often, but I figure that it's OK for me to do this right now because I'm not procrastinating on doing anything that's due tomorrow.
