mysteries of the universe

Why is it that the more free time I have, the less I get done?

The same seems to be when I'm in the midst of an approaching deadline, too.

I find the more time I try to save, the less I have. It's like it gets given to someone else or something.

I'm probably taking this in the wrong direction, but I'm spending less time attempting to be "efficient" and just trying a 15 min. timer thing like you suggested some time ago. I set the timer for 15 min. to see how much I can get done while avoiding all procrastination. It's been helping so far.

Ah, good! It helps me, too. Especially if I rotate tasks. I don't lose my concentration.

If only I could break up work into 15 minute increments, but it is not to be. Still put in a position where I have to save time "just in case", and then it disappears.... *poof* :-)

I'm amazed that you get so much done seeing how there's so much stuff that you're working on. I love the lastest Gen comic, BTW; I've been needing a new desktop background anyway :D
