clarequilty and I need to form an international tenor chicks club. It was amusingly awkward during the holiday singalong today to keep making up harmonies that were a fifth below the original melody and realizing that I was roughly singing the same part as the men. Not that I've got a good voice, but I sounded less bad when actually singing in a range that doesn't make me sound like I'm being strangled by high notes. Why do I have such a freaky vocal range?!
On another note-insomnia is not being a productive friend right now. It's a pity my heroine in lit final paper won't write itself...

I feel so loved. TENORS UNITE. I feel your pain, too. Actually, my range covers just over 2 octives (C the octive down from middle C to High G) , but when I hit mid range, my voice cracks a bit. It's quite anonoying, which is why I stick with tenor parts rather than Alto. I would never call myself a true Soprano, either.

I'm on the lower end of a mezzo-soprano.... or else I'm just an alto with a wide vocal range but next to no voice quality. Heh.
I called Danielle yesterday, btw. And now I either need to call you (probably on the house phones) or you need to get on MSN or something. Download Trillian!
Presents to be mailed in January.

The lyrics were about a tenor. She was lamenting.
