You're right, the Vertigo score has such amazing eerie and catchy motifs. I adore John Williams' work, although less so Star Wars, more so Peter and the Wolf and Harry Potter. He writes so well for brass, yet never compromises other sections of the orchestra, like so many composers who are heavy on brass do.
